Three White House Heritage High School seniors furthered their plans for post-secondary education by signing scholarship agreements on Friday, May 4.
Riley Hallum and Alexandria McFarlin both signed with Vol State Community College to play softball. Hallum intends to major in radiology with a desire to prepare for a career as an ultrasound tech. McFarlin will major in elementary education.
Both said that the highlight of their time at Heritage was going to state competition and McFarlin expressed hope that they can do it again this year before they graduate.
Peyton Lawyer also signed a scholarship agreement on Friday. He’ll be attending Bryan College where he will play soccer. Lawyer has an older brother already on the team and says he’s looking forward to playing with him again. He’ll be majoring in mechanical engineering.
