The WH Heritage Softball team finished their regular season play with an unblemished, undefeated district record, going 12 and 0 in district play.

This #1 position allowed them to enjoy a bye in the 1st round of district tournament play. They then proceeded to defeat the Blue Devils of White House HS 14-0. This victory moved them into the district semi-final game where they defeated Greenbrier 1-0. The teams would then face each other again 2 days later in the district tournament championship. Ready for action the girls won the championship 5-0.

This district championship win allowed the Lady Patriots to host the region’s semi-final and final games. In the Region 5 semi-final round, Heritage soundly defeated Hume Fogg, 18-0, moving themselves into another battle with Greenbrier for the region championship, Tuesday, May 15, 2018 at 7pm.

Should the Lady Patriots take the “ship” again, they will host the loser of the Giles County vs. Creekwood match up, Friday in a winner advances sub-state game. Winning the sub-state (or sectional) game propels the team to the Spring Fling (state tournament) in Murfreesboro, TN, May 22-25.
