winners with Mrs. Baucom, the advisor.
In its first year of existence, White House Heritage Middle School Future Business Leaders of America (FBLA) had three students competing at stage competition and brought home two first place plaques in state competition with the third student placing fourth in the state.  After enjoying a wonderful state conference and FBLA night at the Aquarium, two White House Heritage Middle School students won big.
Kaydance Redwine placed first in the state in Community Service Middle Level for our chapters work with Yuda Bands and funding the education for a child, Prince, in Zimbabwe, Africa.  Kaydance had to present the information and facts about our community service project.  The top three in the state were recognized on stage with Kaydance bringing home 1st place.
Baylor Baucom also placed first in the state in Middle Level Career Exploration.  He was tasked with taking an objective test on all things about careers.  A large focus was on resumes, cover letters, interviews etc.  The top three were recognized on stage with Baylor bringing home 1st.  Caleb Gregory, another White House Heritage Middle School student also took the same test and tied in a three way tie for 2nd place.  He lost the tiebreakers to the other two students, so he did not get recognized on stage, but still deserves to be recognized for a great job at state FBLA competition and placing fourth in the state.
Both Kaydance and Baylor advance to National FBLA Competition this summer in Baltimore, Maryland. Kudos to both students on their achievement.
