Hello My Name Is...

John Beach 

Howdy! My name is John Beach.  I am a Tennessee boy, born and bred.  I have currently been hired to teach at Heritage and am excited to be a new Patriot in the upcoming year. I have taught Biology, Biology II, Anatomy and Physiology, Ecology, Environmental Science, Physical Science, Psychology, Personal Finance, and ACT Prep. I received my Bachelor’s from Belmont University and my Master’s at Lipscomb University and my attitude from the U.S. Army.  I am currently serving in the Tennessee National Guard as well.  I believe learning is a team effort.  It does not matter how much the teacher loves the subject or invests in the students, there needs to be others on the field to win.  The opponents we face are fear, self-doubt, apathy, popular culture, and pride. I know together we can make strides to overcome these opponents and set the stage for each student’s success. Let’s have a great year!
